Service
Hailship connects Shopify stores to delivery carriers. We aggregate rates and dispatch deliveries on behalf of merchants who supply their own carrier API credentials.
Merchant responsibility
- You are responsible for the carrier accounts you connect and any charges those carriers bill you.
- You agree to comply with each carrier's terms of service.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of pickup addresses, package details, and item values.
Billing
Hailship subscriptions are billed through Shopify Billing. Carrier delivery costs are billed by the carrier directly. Hailship is not a party to delivery transactions and does not collect or refund delivery fees.
Availability
We aim for high uptime but do not warrant uninterrupted service. The rate engine is configured to fail open: if a carrier times out or errors, the customer sees the remaining shipping options.
Liability
Hailship is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for indirect or consequential damages, including delivery delays, lost items, or carrier service failures.
Termination
Uninstalling the app from Shopify cancels your subscription. We will delete your data within 30 days of the shop-redact webhook.
